Meditation
Meditation is at the heart of everything we do at Pingala. The true practice of meditation means to be present with what is, free from mental abstractions and projections.
We sometimes offer free online meditation classes, and will post details on the site.
Please contact us directly for the Zoom link if you would like to join us for one of these events.
The regular practice of meditation can lead to greater mental clarity, a connection with your true self, inner peace and freedom from mental noise.
We teach meditation techniques that utilise breath work and body awareness, and also sometimes incorporate movement.
We also use elements of Qigong, the ancient Chinese system of 'energy work', which uses gentle movements to cultivate awareness, release negative energy and raise and circulate Qi or 'life-force' in the body.
We believe that if everyone on this planet meditated regularly, then the world would be transformed in a very short time. The shift in consciousness would allow for a planet free from war and conflict, with enough for everyone to live and express themselves.
